The
durability of my cameras is quite high, of some – very high. Being a
sick perfectionist by nature I can’t skip a single meaningless flaw
– all must be made to last forever, so many of my cameras are built
like tanks – hidden metal supporting structures, bellows get almost
always reinforced with extra layers, till they become bulletproof, all is
fixed with different glue combinations with screws or bolts on top of that….
All that I learned a hard way, it happened to me a couple of times –
if I am in Sydney, shooting around ( having a workshop in L.A.), and the camera
jams - I am stuck…
